Strategic Solutions. Proven Results

Prepared Love for Families (PL4F) provides follow up services with those who have entered our program long after the initial services are rendered. After We Fund, We Counsel, We Educate; We Follow-up because We Care!

  • We Fund – We provide supplemental funeral funds to families who do not have the resources to cover the entire burial expense for their child (or other loved one). Our goal is to help parents with severely limited financial resources deal with grief by eliminating the added stress of paying for the funeral so they can grieve naturally; without a doubt, parents have one less stress of concern. Click here to learn more
  • We Counsel – Regardless of the type of loss experienced everyone grieves in different ways, but the death of a child of any age is a profound, difficult, and painful experience. Many studies have provided evidence that the greatest stress, and often the most enduring one, occurs for parents who experience the death of a child; and for parents/families grieving the loss of a child, the grief process may not follow a prescribed pattern. PL4F provides grief and other counseling services to help parents and the entire family cope with the loss. We strive to create a community environment in which they can learn that they (parents/families) are not alone and others’ experiences are much like their own; above all, they will feel secure of non-judgement. • We Educate – When parents are prepared financially and emotionally they are better prepared in other areas of their life; in addition to this, they are better able to deal with a sudden loss. Click here to learn more.

The American Funeral Foundation knows the real grieving begins after the memorial service ends and when other family and friends have gone on with their day to day lives; therefore, we stay in touch with our program families throughout the first year of their grieving journey. Upon approval from the bereaved a member of our team calls, visits, delivers flowers or food. We never want you to feel like you are alone. We are here for you.
